Needle Felted Owl (Yellow & Gray)

This quirky little critter is made of wool roving that has been matted down into solid felt (through needle felting techniques). The core of the owl is yarn, but its still solid enough to squeeze. He's a stylized yellow owl with big green eyes, a lighter yellow colored face, plus two tufted ears. 

I have been honored to have one of my felted owls appear in the winter edition of Better Home and Garden "Do It Yourself" magazine in 2010.
