ABOUT: This very special piece was created during my time as Artist-in-Residence at Table Rock State Park in October 2024. Inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings of the Upstate of South Carolina in autumn, I created this needle felted landscape from dyed wool fiber at the park. Layers and layers of colorful roving are matted down with a barbed felting needle, bringing this textured 2D piece to life. A wood frame holds the one-of-a-kind piece and it's ready to hang.
